Summer is finally here, and something that I think is a big part of summer is the music. For that reason I decided to create a playlist on Spotify of what I think are all the best songs for the summer - new and old!
Music can be a big part of creating memories in the summer, which is why I think it's so important to have a great playlist. The songs I included in this playlist are a mixture of new songs that I'm loving right now, for example Solo by Clean Bandit (feat. Demi Lovato), as well as old songs that are still great to this day, for example Glad You Came by The Wanted. Some of the songs included I also have great summer memories with, so I wanted to share that with you too! Make sure to follow the playlist so you'll know when I've added more songs to it! Leader of the Band' by Dan Fogelberg will always be my favorite song. It is a song that I dedicate to my father and a song that I hope I never have to sing for my father. The reason why is because the song tells a story of a son who pays tribute to his father who is about to die. It is such a brilliant song and it makes me cry every single time I hear it. The emotions that Dan Fogelberg poured into this song is so genuine and raw.
