Many people know Nathan Sykes for being in the hugely successful boyband, The Wanted. However, when The Wanted decided to take a break after their Word Of Mouth tour in 2014, it left many people questioning what would be next for the boys. I was devastated by the break, but little did I know that I would soon be seeing Nathan on his first ever UK tour in April 2015, and I was lucky enough to catch Nathan on the final date of the tour in London at the beautiful Bush Hall. At first I was slightly apprehensive about seeing Nathan live without Max, Tom, Jay and Siva by his side, as I was worried that it would feel wrong to see one without the others. However as soon as Nathan came on stage all the worry went. His sound, his stage presence, even his clothes were completely different to the Nathan Sykes in The Wanted, not in a bad way though...just different. This was the first time hearing the songs from Nathan's debut album, but lets be honest there isn't a better way to listen to new music than live. Nathan's new sound is quite different to the sound of The Wanted, as it has more of a jazzy/Justin Timberlake vibe to it. There was a variety of upbeat songs such as Twist, Money and his debut single Kiss Me Quick, as well as ballads such as Over and Over Again. Each song managed to show off Nathan's incredible vocals, and just by looking around you could see how proud everyone was of him. After an impressive night I now look forward to the release of the album, and I'm also extremely excited for whats next for Max, Tom, Siva and Jay with a possible comeback of The Wanted!
